More To Come
It's been pretty crazy since I left Iraq, but before too long I'll be back in the swing of things and I'll get more photos posted. :-)

Red Wednesday
Yesterday, it was blood red outside here in Al Asad, Iraq. I've seen some pretty nasty sand storms, but never a red one. It was eerie and just weird. What it would be like on Mars is what I thought. I had pictured some zombies walking around as well. It just reminded me of that stupid movie, Ghosts of Mars too. So, this pic is unedited, no filters or anything. What you are seeing if what you'd seen if you were here with me.

Header
So, what do you think about the header? I made it myself of course. I'm going to be changing it up so often, so that I can get a feel as to which one works best. Just thought that I'd share them with ya.

Old Family Photo

Grandmother Shirley
Grandma Shirley & Grandpa RC
The photo up above of my Grandmother Shirley and Grandfather RC, is one that I remember growing up with. They are the world, sort to speak, to my mother. The picture was framed and some how got moisture in between the glass and picture, the picture became stuck to the frame, making removing the glass impossible without tearing the picture. So, in order for me to edit this photo, I had to scan the glass with the picture. Below is the result of my editing.
Grandfather, Great Uncle & Great Aunt
My Great Grandmother Ruby
This is an old family photo that I came across and was sad at the condition. It's a picture of my Great Grandmother Ruby in her younger days. I remember wishing that it was in better condition when I first seen it. Imagine me getting bored, and so I started messing around with it, trying to "repair" it.
Here is what I ended up with after I messed around with the picture for a day or two. I even added some color as you can see. I'm sure it could have been a lot better, but I am just beginning. Reconstructing missing pieces is way hard.

Getting Started
This is a blog where I can post my photography and show off my editing skills. Here, I hope to learn the hard, but fair and truth of what people really think about my work. This could possibly lead to me starting some type of business in this field.
